PM Internship Scheme: To solve the growing issue of unemployment, the Central Government has started the PM Internship Scheme. The objective of this scheme is to provide skill development as well as internship opportunities in big industries to the youth. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced this scheme in the budget speech on July 3, in which a target has been set to provide internship opportunities in collaboration with 500 leading companies in the next five years.
The government plans to field internships from around 60,000 applications, while private sector companies had announced over 125,000 vacancies. For which the application process is going on. Students can apply for internship till 25th October. According to reports, more than 1.55 lakh registrations have been done for this scheme.
For application, youth will need Aadhar card, educational qualification documents and passport size photo. Interested youth can apply for this scheme by visiting the official site of the government. Under the scheme, the youth will get a lump sum allowance of Rs 6000 and Rs 5000 every month for a year. Out of this, Rs 4500 will be provided by the government and Rs 500 will be provided by the companies.
PM Internship Scheme: These are the major companies
The number of companies covered under this scheme has reached 500. This includes the names of major companies like Maruti Suzuki, Reliance Industries, Tata Consultancy Services, State Bank of India, HDFC Bank, Jubilant Foodworks, Tech Mahindra and Hero MotoCorp. The selected youth will be included in these companies in December.

- Step 1: To apply, candidates should first visit the official website apminternship.mca.gov.in.
- Step 2: After this, candidates scroll down on the homepage and find the registration option.
- Step 3: Then click on the link to go to the candidate registration page.
- Step 4: After this the candidates should fill the registration form completely.
- Step 5: Now the candidates upload the required documents.
- Step 6: After this the candidates should submit the application form.
- Step 7: Finally, candidates download the application form and take a print out of it.
